It was a hot day and my roommate called me and asked me to open the windows in his room so it wouldn't be hot when he got home. I open the windows but before he got home it started to rain. The rain came in through his window and got his books and mp3 player soaked. He is now demanding that i pay to replace them even though the books are fine and the mp3 player just has some water behind the screen.

I just moved back to school yesterday and my roommate didn't move back until today. She is pissed because I put my bed in front of the window. This is our third year as roommates and her bed has always been in front of the window. I told her it's my turn but she insists it's "her spot."

My girlfriend insisted that I drive her car, because we were out and she didn't want to drive any more. I drove pretty fast over a speed hump because I didn't see it coming. My girlfriend saw the sign and tried to tell me to slow down, but she didn't get the words out until it was too late. No damage was done to her car but she won't stop complaining about it.

My little sister always wants to go everywhere I go. I almost always take her with me, because every time I want to go somewhere without her, she tells my mom, and then my mom freaks out and I end up taking her with me anyway. Or not being allowed to go at all.

I slogged my guts out in a group for a novel-writing competition with 3 other people. One of the guys started complaining about how nobody gave him so much work to do. So we gave him the job of of arranging our final work and guess what? He arranged it wrongly. Worse still, he handed it up and we lost. We confronted him and he started blaming US for shirking responsibility. Then he badmouthed us. Was it my fault we lost?

When my girlfriend (of 6+ years) and I go out, I usually drive. This is fine, but every once in a while I want to be the passenger. Every single time I make this request, it turns into a fight. Am I wrong for wanting a break from driving sometimes?
