Am I a bad person for laughing at a grown man who got his car stuck in the mud? I think he should have known better.

Once I was settled that night, I noticed that the place where you attach the coax cable on my almost brand new bedroom TV was broken, rendering the TV useless. I saw who carried it from the apartment to the truck, and from the truck to the townhouse (same person), but he didn't mention anything got broken. My teenage son was recently caught shoplifting from a local convenience store. This is the first trouble he has ever been in. I firmly but calmly explained to him what such a small mistake can do to his future, but I did not punish him. My wife was not happy with me, because she thinks I should have grounded him. She was out of town for work, so I dealt with it how I saw fit. Does my wife have any reason to be angry with me?

My sister is getting married and her fiancee is planning on having his bachelor party in Vegas. When i told my girlfriend (of 2.5 years) that i wanted to go, she flipped out and told me that if i went, she wouldn't talk to me for 2 weeks. I think that she has been influenced by movies like the hangover and thinks that i'm going to cheat on her or do something she wouldn't approve of. I am still planning on attending and if i do so is it my fault that she will not be talking to me ...

My father and I have never gotten along. We have managed to maintain civil relations, where everyone takes care of his affairs. He is president of a small association, and now asked me to make the web site of the latter. I said no. I do not see why I should favor him. Am I wrong?
