I slogged my guts out in a group for a novel-writing competition with 3 other people. One of the guys started complaining about how nobody gave him so much work to do. So we gave him the job of of arranging our final work and guess what? He arranged it wrongly. Worse still, he handed it up and we lost. We confronted him and he started blaming US for shirking responsibility. Then he badmouthed us. Was it my fault we lost?

In my state, they just passed new bullying laws. Last week, I was sitting at lunch with my boyfriend and our group of friends (who are all guys). We were talking about something and I said "Wow... gay!" in response. I didn't notice that this gay kid was walking by until my boyfriend's best friend said "Hi (his name)!" The next day, they called me down to the office. He had told them I was making remarks about him and that I was sexually harassing him. When I ...

Okay, so my science teacher is very sloppy. He has a very unorginized way of teaching and he loses many papers. I have turned in almost every assignment. When i say almost, there is 1 that i missed. It was a small 10 point assignment out of a total of 1,000 points in the quater. I am currently failing this class and I am the captain of my lacrosse team. If i fail this class I cannot play lacrosse. My parents are driving me insane trying to get my grades up. Is it my fault im faili...

Am I wrong for slapping a bully for insulting my mother? I know violence isn't the answer but he's gone too far.

I am an elementary school teacher, and one of my students always arrives 5-10 minutes late. I have asked the student's parent several times to try to get him to school on time, but the problem persists. I know it is not the child's fault, but I think my only remaining option is to make the tardiness show in the student's grades. Is it wrong of me to punish the student for his parent's bad habit?

Last week the kid sitting next to me copied off my test, and the teacher failed us both for cheating. I had no idea what was happening and I took the test honestly. The teacher asked me what answer I put for a specific question, and I didn't know because I guessed on that question. The teacher interpreted that as me lying. So I got a 0 on that test and that teacher will probably never believe anything I say in the future.

Last year in college, I was part of a group of three with a 15-page paper to write for an Honors English class. The paper was worth 20% of our final grade. I wrote my 5 pages and sent it over to the group leader. The 2nd person in the group did the same. The group leader only wrote 4 pages, put it all together, and handed it in. We all got 0 points because we didn't meet the minimum length requirement.
