A couple months ago my roommate went away for the weekend but left his car in front of the garage. When we moved in we made a rule that if your car was in the driveway, the keys would have to be somewhere in the house. This time he didn't leave his keys and it was my turn to cut the grass but the car was too close to the garage. When taking the lawn mower out of the garage I accidentally scratched his front bumper. Now he is withholding rent to pay for the "damage." ...

I was helping my friend fix an old car and we were doing an oil change at the same time as flushing the coolant lines. He asked me to fill the engine with oil and he put the funnel in the filler. After adding 4 quarts of oil to the engine he yelled out "STOP!" The oil was pouring out of the bottom of the car, all 4 quarts. The first thought was that we forgot the oil drain plug but it turned out to be much worse than that. He put the funnel in the Coolant line filler by ...

A friend called to tell me that she got a second DUI..after an hour on the phone trying to figure out if she has learned her lesson yet...I text another friend to keep her up to date on our friend. When I texted the other friend I texed the friend I got off the phone with instead. Should she be upset that I told the mutual friend that she will never change her ways?

A couple of months ago I mailed a check to pay the bill for my wife's credit card. The next month, the statement came and the payment wasn't posted. The check had cleared so I knew something was wrong. Turns out I didn't pay my wife's credit card, but instead I made a second payment to MY credit card. So now my wife has a late payment on her credit history and she is pissed. I just got a little confused, should she really hold it against me?

I accidentally spilled my coffee on the carpet and my wife blew a gasket. I cleaned it up and there is no mark on the carpet, but she is still mad.

Am I a bad person for laughing at a grown man who got his car stuck in the mud? I think he should have known better.

My friend begged me to keep an eye on her cats while she was away for a week. I did not want to, but I agreed because she was desperate. I went to her house each day, made sure the cats had food and water, cleaned the litter box, and checked on them to make sure they were okay. When my friend got home, she called me and said that one of her cats was very sick, and I am going to have to pay the vet bill because it happened while they were under my care. I told her she's crazy. Her ...
